Secure Check-in System for Children
The check-in system at Palm Valley Church is a security measure used during Sunday and Wednesday church services, which allows a child to be checked in by a responsible adult who is given a code number matching the one assigned to the child. Only with this code may a child be checked out of a class. Check-in kiosks are located in the common areas of the east and west entrances of the church.
The person checking in a child will receive two tags:
- The first tag will have the child's name and a code number. The child will wear this tag to class.
- The second tag will have a code number matching the code on the child's tag and will be retained by the person who checked in the child. To check a child out when a service is finished, this second tag must be presented and the code numbers verified.
FAQ's
This is my first time to attend Palm Valley Church. How do I check in my children?
A first-time visitor is asked to fill out a short registration form with the child's (children's) information. From this information name/code tags are issued.
My child brought a friend to church. How do I check in a visitor?
The Kiosk attendant will take the child's information and print a one-time-visitor name tag.
What if my child needs me during the service?
If a parent or guardian is needed during a service, the child's first initial, last name, and the classroom number will appear on a small screen in the right corner of the auditorium.
