Building Update 4.21.10
Apr 21, 2010
This past week, PVC staff put on hardhats and ventured out to the building site to take pictures of the ongoing progress.

Air-conditioning units that will provide welcomed relief from the long, hot days of summer in the Rio Grande Valley are now installed on top of the building.

Metal studs mark the beginning of the downstairs restrooms.

Framing for the nurseries is going up on the east side of the sanctuary.

Looking west-to-east, stairs leading to the top of the stadium seating are visible.

From the foyer, this opening is the main entrance to the sanctuary. To the left is the lodge, a multipurpose room with a fireplace. To the right will be the location of the coffee shop.

The concrete flooring for the fixed stadium seating has been poured.

In this picture, Joe Martinez is standing on the mezzanine, looking down on the grand foyer, giving a good perspective of the immense size of the area.

The floor section of the new sanctuary will be 4 ½ times the width of the current sanctuary!
It is exciting to see the progress, so watch for periodic updates.
Thank you so much for the continued support of The Church I See building project!
