ax·is (n.) - an alliance or association between two or more people, that is thought of as forming a center of influence AXIS is a program designed for students in grades 9 - 12, “We exist to REACH unbelieving and uncommitted students, to GROW and deepen them in their faith and to SEND them out into their world to INFLUENCE it for Jesus Christ.” AXIS is designed to connect young people to Christ--to use strategic events, relationships and weekly services to cause students to grow and to create opportunities for students to serve and be difference makers in their world! Led by a team of staff and volunteers whose goal is to train youth to become life-long Christ Followers, AXIS not only provides vibrant, life-changing meetings, but also finds and trains next-generation leaders. Partnering with students and parents to provide a safe environment, the staff and volunteers work hard to make AXIS a place where teens feel they belong and where they want to bring their friends! AXIS meets each Wednesday at 7:00 pm. This is a time aimed at all students regardless of where they are in their walk with God. Topics of discussion vary. All high school students are invited for this exciting time! AXIS meets each Sunday at 10:15 am and 11:30 am. This time is designed for the student who is ready to take his/her faith to the next level. If a student is serious about connecting with God, and with others with the same goal, then AXIS on Wednesday nights is the place to come! This is a night of worship, relevant issues, and fellowship designed to draw students closer to God and to one another. For more information, contact Micah Crump at |
